Sean is right: I shall study the manuals!

This URL shows the MGED-manual where I just clicked the link to see the Editor States somewhere below.

and this URL shows a problem: BRL-CAD (or MGED?) cannot find the file about the Editor States.

3/ http://fotoalbum.seniorennet.be/incl/getimage2.php?imageid=1571770&albumid=18832&typeid=4
The file is indeed not there.

My complete BRL-CAD download contains SEVEN files with "editor" in their names: all of them .PNG or .JPG.
So, please, where should I look to find the Editor States?

Thanks for noticing the dead link, André.  Note that the built-in cup
tutorial, while convenient, is not the one I referred to earlier.  That is
a very old tutorial.  The latest tutorials are available on the website at
http://brlcad.org/wiki/Documentation

If you go down that list of documentation in order, you'll find item #2 to
be particularly instructive.

Either way, thanks for reporting the dead link.  The link was removed from
the current sources and the update will be in the next release of BRL-CAD
with special thanks to you.

This issue has been resolved in the latest (unreleased) version of the
source code. Thank you for bringing the issue to our attention!  You're
welcome and encouraged to test and make sure this issue is resolved after
the next source release of BRL-CAD.
