Summary: mged: Segmentation fault

Initial Comment:
I installed the binaries from the brlcad-7.16.2  distribution.
Trying to run mged I get :  Segmentation fault.
My PATh and LD_LIBRARY_PATH  have been updated to reflect the binaries and libraries respectively.
I am on macosx 10.6.

Message:
This is a known issue with the posted Mac OS X binaries.  They are
incompatible with the newer version of X11 installed by Apple.  You'll
either have to compile BRL-CAD yourself from a source distribution or wait
for a future binary release of BRL-CAD for Mac OS X.
