Initial Comment:
as some photon mapping renders can take days /months to 
finish it would be good to have a more frequent percentage 
indication  
 
may be good to give it at a timed interval say once every 
hour ,  
 
would be even nicer for it to give a estimated compleation 
time along with it  
something like  
 
percent done 0.001% estimated time to compleation 90 
days 8hrs 12mins
