Bugs item #925413, was opened at 2004-03-29 16:37 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=640802&aid=925413&group_id=105292 Category: Geometry Editing Group: crash or data loss Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 3 Submitted By: Sean Morrison (brlcad) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: mged crashes when e'ing up many objects Initial Comment: If you request to edit many objects at the same time (e.g. 'e *.c') from within mged, it is possible to hit a stack limit. The e command performs a recursive call that will hit the stack limit when given several thousand objects to process (depending on the size of your stack limit). A simple work-around is to e up smaller sets of geometry at a time (e.g. 'e a*.c', 'e b*.c', etc) since the limit is on the expansion of * by the embedded tcl interpreter. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=640802&aid=925413&group_id=105292 |
