Summary: mged crashes when e'ing up many objects

Initial Comment:
If you request to edit many objects at the same time (e.g. 'e *.c') 
from within mged, it is possible to hit a stack limit.  The e 
command performs a recursive call that will hit the stack limit 
when given several thousand objects to process (depending on the 
size of your stack limit). 

A simple work-around is to e up smaller sets of geometry at a 
time (e.g. 'e a*.c', 'e b*.c', etc) since the limit is on the expansion 
of * by the embedded tcl interpreter.
