What do you hope to change with the zoom feature? Would it be helpful to increase the size of the rendered overlay on your monitor? Please keep in mind that not all pages of the source pdf are used to create the overlay so it's possible that some pages with extra long or broad text passages are not reflected in the overlay. In this case a zoom wouldn't change anything.
