Before I start I wanna tell ya, that Borg Calendar is a really good software
and I appreciate your work. I searched a long time for a independent calendar
with email reminder and a fresh look. It's really hard, when you don't want to
use one of the big ones, like Outlookk, Google Calendar or Sunbird. But I
think you know that. :)
O.K. now my problem :) I hope you can help me. I can't set up the email
reminder to send mails from web.de or gmx.com. It always tells me this error
message
"com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPSendFailedException: 550-Requested action not taken:
mailbox unavailable
550 Sender address is not allowed."
Doesn't care if I change the server from 25, 465 or 587 or with or without
TLS.
Do you have an idea to solve this problem?

It is likely that your email server is rejecting the email address in the
"From". Borg is currently coded to fill in the From address with the same
address that you are sending to.
So, if you connect to web.de and try to send an email that says To:
xxx.hotmail.com From: xxx.hotmail.com, web.de might not be happy with that.
It could also be something else. Perhaps if you can control what is in the
From, you can fix it.
I think I will create a version of Borg that let's you specify different From
and To addresses. Then it may be possible to figure this out and get it
working.

It is likely that your email server is rejecting the email address in the
"From". Borg is currently coded to fill in the From address with the same
address that you are sending to.
So, if you connect to web.de and try to send an email that says To:
