Hello Mike, To be more precise here are the steps I did:
1) Install Mercurial, and download the code
2) Install Ant and configure it (APPEND the %ANT_HOME%\bin parameter)
3) Make sure you have the Java 1.7 .
4) In the folder structure, run the file "lombok-0.10.6.jar", and make sure it installs on your Eclipse
5) Import the project (only the BORGCalendar folder)
6) Create a build configuration which points to the build.xml file in the ant\ subdirectory.
And I run the project and I got the error message. (Another little detail I have windows vista home 64Bytes)

When you import into Eclipse, make sure that you import as General->Existing Projects into Workspace. This will import the project and set up the classpath and other Java project parameters. This is required.
Create a new run configuration of Java Application type. Under Main class, press Search to find the net.sf.borg.control.Borg class on the Main tab of the run configuration screen.
On the classpath tab, select User Entries and press the Advanced button. Choose Add Folders and add the BORGCalendar/res folder.
Then run the configuration.

just to tell you I reinstalled Windows 7 and I followed all your steps it is working properly.
I believe windows vista is a pain and Borg does not work fine in that Operational System.

I have a main issue, as soon I try to compile and run the Borg Calendar I got this message:
Error: Could not find or load main class net.sf.borg.control.Borg

Can you provide more information? Are you running borg.jar or are you trying to run from within an IDE?
