[BMSYNC-USERS] Cross browser and accented characters

Hello everyone, 

 

Yesterday I tried to install mozilla and have it to sync with my existing
browser (IE) 

At first it worked well: I wrote the right keys in the registry and it
synced 

 

But only moments later it went mad: Syncit began to duplicate folders
containing accented characters, replacing them as it goes with strange
characters. 

 

I spent the next 3 hours swearing, de-installing Mozilla, syncit and all.
And trying to get my favorites back. 

I use 1.6.4.7 the last version of the client 

 

What went wrong ?

 

Mmm and maybe I said it before but. releasing the ASP server code was a nice
move, but without the database script it is as useful as a bicycle to a
goldfish. Anyone?
