Indeed, Sync2it charges $10 per year now. However, it's $10 per year, not per month! Why would we expect them to buy hardware and bandwidth as a gift for us? They put most of their administration work for free anyway. They have to = fix a bug or two and they plan releasing new local bookmark management and search tools (see site).
