My $0.02: IF someone were working on a Linux client, I'd think it a good 
idea to make the client prog GUI-free so it can compile to Mac OSX or 
other Unix flavors as well.

You know...configure it with text files...perhaps eventually build a 
native system GUI around it...

Hmmm....download the source.....
