Good news and bad news

Good: I've solved my problem!  It appears that php and apache can
be configured with conflicting directives.  This causes the text
corruption errors I was experiencing.
phpMyAdmin FAQ 1.29 solves it (thank goodness!)

Bad: New problem!
Firebird has changed the structure of its bookmarks file in the
latest build.  The special 'Bookmarks Toolbar Folder' is now
duplicated, causing SyncIT to crash when bookmarks are in the
'special' folder.  Also it there a way to get Firebird to refresh
it's bookmarks upon sync? Currently I seem to have to shutdown and
restart.
