I don't like this. I can't understand why it is bound to the download =
link in the original software. It might be difficult for huge software =
packages to provide the bandwidth for source downloads on my own server. =
The original GPL gives more cheap (for the developer) possibilites to =
provide the source.

Another problem is that even setting some variables during in the =
original source would count as derivated work. And if you be strict on =
the affero GPL, you had to provide the source with your database =
settings you've entered into the original source. This doesn't make =
sense, nobody wants to reveal his database password ;)

Maybe the best would be to add a passage that states "running this code =
on a public accessable server counts as distribution in the sense of =
GPL" to make the server code free again.
