Serge, Using a Word doc with an image to show a Python exception is a bit heavy on the bit load ;-) , I therefore rejected it. However check the following link for the work around to your problem. https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=5133566 Werner |

I would love to claim that this is my project, but that credit has to go to Riaan. I am really just a user who takes active interest in the project (working on the doc) and I try to help other users. I was away for a few days so have to catch up on things. I use Boa mostly on Vista and only rarely use it on Ubuntu, also I am toying with the idea to switch over to Ubuntu as the primary platform. So, I will try to review all the points you make and see if I can help, but there are others out there who have Ubuntu experience and might be able to help you quicker then I do, therefor I copy the list. Anyhow these type of exchanges should be kept on the list as it might help other users in the future. Werner > > I have been using Dabo on Ubuntu Linux that is using wxPython and > Window XP. Have you tried to run it from the command line? e.g.: python XRCed-02.py I tried to use the XRCed which is included with wxPython and I get some import errors on that too - see my post on the wx list. How are you trying to execute this in Boa? BTW, I just tried to run xrced.py which is included with wxPython 2.8.9.1 and get an import error on xrced.xrced or something similar.
