Start up Boa, select wxApp. Click on Frame1 tab, click on Frame Designer, click Containers/Layout, click wxBoxSizer, click on the Frame Designer window of our frame, which puts a yellow outlne on the frame. Click on wxPanel, and click on Frame Designer window, and BOOM! Python crashes.
If you leave out the wxBoxGrid, the above sequence puts a panel on the frame just fine. Seems to crash with all the wxLayout widgets.
Boa version: cvs latest (feb 2009)
Python version: 2.4.3 and 2.6.1
Windows python, by the way, with Portable Python (portablepython.com) for 2.6.1 (includes wxPython-unicode-2.8.9.1). 2.4.3 was an Activestate install with an older version of wxWidgets.
