Nice work, but you should update the documentation :
1/ 4 weeks old build + 4 weeks old ".a2dprc" config file = usable, but noisy (not as bad as bug #1560292)
2/ recent cvs build + 4 weeks old ".a2dprc" config file = unusable (very bad audio quality)
3/ recent cvs build + config file updated = as good as 1/
4/ recent cvs build + config file updated, and sbcbitpool option set to maximum 64 = perfect
I'm using a JABRA BT620S.

Hi,
Thanks a lot for these pointers! Me and another user were already discussing this in bug number 1491509 "Jabra BT620s works" but you found the trick.
The quality is a lot better with sbcbitpool=64 added to .a2dprc, however some static noise still remains. But hten again I haven't applied the kernel patches yet (or do they work only for sco?). Anyhow, it's getting very close to the point where my untrained ear can't tell the difference anymore with perfect sound or with Windows.
Cheers,
