upgraded to Ver: 2.2.10 yesterday and was OK.
Today, both when opening the program direct and opening a documant from folder "open with", I get an alert from: bluefish.exe - No disk, saying, "There is no disk in the drive, Please insert a disk into drive \Device\Harddisk2\DR2".
With buttons to Cancel, Try Again, Continue. Whichever button is pressed, it comes back again until a 4th click, then the program opens.
we've heard this issue several times. It is an issue that pops up on certain windows configurations. Some people have fixed it with registry cleaners. Some people have fixed it with a windows reinstall. But nobody found the real issue. Windows will pop up this dialog when Bluefish calls the function g_volume_monitor_get_mounts()
see for example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7khU0ZY9gBU or https://www.howtogeek.com/forum/topic/no-disk-in-drive or https://www.accountexnetwork.com/blog/2013/08/fixing-the-there-is-no-disk-in-the-drive-error/
I still get the message occationally, but at least I get it open. Don't seem to matter which "Cancel, Try Again, Continue" buttons are pressed. I didn't want suppress error message via registry, so I'll just live with it!
Does this issue still exist?
