I'm using Bluefish 2.2.11 on Ubuntu 20.10.
When editing files on an FTP server, there's often a ~5 seconds lag.
The app freeze while I"m typing and the text is added when it's back.
There's no log in console.
Hi,
the exact same thing happens to me when I use nano in an ssh link. And exactly the same using ssh in console. It seems to me that this is a connection issue, not a software issue.

Bluefish should save files, or check for newer versions on the server in the background. But obviously this does not work as expected. I always use sftp and I don't see this issue. But I will try if I can get access to a ftp server somewhere so I can test it.

Hi there,
having the same issue, on FTP as well as SFTP. I checked with other editors (gedit, atom): it doesn't happen with them. Had it in previous versions oder Bluefish and Ubuntu as well.
