can you send the output from Help->Build info ?
can you also send the distribution and version you are running bluefish on?
that will hopefully give a clue what might cause this issue.

I took a picture in Bluefish from Help->Build info and it is as a attachment.

Bluefish was compiled for gtk 3.14, and your gtk version is 3.22, this might cause the issue. If you have compiled bluefish yourself you might want to compile it again.
