Not sure about web-based committing, but there are a ton of web clients for browsing, doing diffs, annotates, etc..that's probably not what you're looking for. There is actually a good windows client, it's called wincvs (http://www.cvsgui.org). John On Thu, 31 May 2001, Peter Bowyer wrote: > Hi, > > Is there any chance of a web-based cvs front end? Hi, Is there any chance of a web-based cvs front end? I haven't ever used cvs being stuck on windows, so am unsure how I could see what's there unless you did. The other option would be for you to make tarballs of the cvs contents at regular intervals, so we can download them. Thanks! Location of records, custodian, etc. I expect auth and perm to be out a functional quite soon, we have a basic makefile working as well. The next things that will be released are EntityManager and QueryManager - which would be a nearly complete set of r2 tools for a project like that. _alex |

It will be a records management system. It will replace a system now that is done with paper. Primary purpose is to allow for search and retreival of metadata information pertaining to paper records. I have release a "preview" - which you can use to start building modules. The complete system will evolve over a period of ~2 months. I expect to release a functional r2/core quite soon, however, so the original statement is best: It depends on what you need. _alex _______________________________________________ binarycloud-dev mailing list bin...@li... http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/binarycloud-dev |

excellent! BC_DOCROOT is the only funky thing in bc/r1, anyway no such problems exist (or will) with r2 with installation. Interesting that an incorrect BC_DOCROOT kills your page render though... :) for those of you with CVS problems, I am out of town at the moment, and I'll see if I can get to it tomorrow. I tested this afternoon and it is broken for me too. _a |

ok. i got it working on apache/win2k and then did it the same way with linux and it works fine now. the problem was an user error (go figure).. i defined BC_DOCROOT as something else than it was... instead of having nothing in it, i had /bc. after this was solved all i needed to do was to delete some empty spaces in the end of couple of files. paivi |

Do you know of anyone doing anything similar to cocoon, i.e. "logic calls" from within a stylesheet? This is _sorely_ needed with php, at the moment some things with php/xml/xslt are quite painful. I would love to see an extension to sablotron to do this :) for example: <xsl:logic language="php"> <?php for ($i=0, $i<10, $i++) { ?> <thing><?php echo $i; ?></thing> <?php } ?> </xsl:logic> within a stylesheet, where php is used to evaluate this block of code.. during the transformation. actually, most of that use would be for things like: -math -values returned from queries -other xml trees which is makes sense to abstract > As a bit of background, the XSLT 1.1 Working Draft, which seems to be on > permanent back burner status while the Working Group focuses on XSLT 2.0, > did offer a way to define extension functions right in your stylesheet. Ah, even better: support for this concept seems to have made it into XSLT 2. Do you know if they plan to have this generalized? i.e. you can say something xslpish: <xsl:logic language="php"> <?php for ($i=0, $i<10, $i++) { ?> <thing><?php echo $i; ?></thing> <?php } ?> </xsl:logic> or something like: <xsl:logic language="java"> <% for (int i=0, i < 10, i++) { %> <thing><% out.println(i) %></thing> <% } %> </xsl:logic> ... i.e. you can just pick your "logic handler" _alex |
