With bibtex, the crossref field is included in the .bbl file. But with biber (0.9.6 beta), is not.
It's could be useful, for a bibcheck to have only the main entry, like it :

Yes, sorry, I took this out as it's an easier way to implement cascading crossrefs. I'll put it back and use another method.
