I know, that you can use a journal key in your Bib entry and have two different lists with full names and abbreviations (with and without dots). BibDesk offers using the full journal names by automatically storing and trying to match them, and its also more convenient and less prone to mistakes, using the full journal names. It would be great if BibDesk would also store the used journal names (full names) in a list were the user could add common abbreviations for that journal to be used in certain citation styles (for citations when publishing in different journals). Just an idea (from having used Endnote actually) Cheers Angela ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=497426&aid=1653147&group_id=61487 |
