That’s correct, the “is today” condition only has a start date for the range, and that always matches for a missing date as I said, and it always did, so this will include the item. So nothing has changed, I think you remember incorrectly.

Essentially, current;y a missing date is interpreted as “now”. However I have changed this for the next release to be interpreted as “long ago”, which probably is more appropriate. 

Note that for items added in BibDesk there should never be  a missing date-added, except perhaps for items that were added a very long time ago.
