OK, Here's the deal, we've got a ton of cool code to integrate once we hit 1.0 (Kurt Marek's ScienceLibrary stuff is already in CVS as a separate module, so take a look.) So let's hit 1.0 already. I got the Jaguar compatibility and a lot of UNDO stuff working, so I think we should push out a likely to be last-before-1.0 release, say 0.9, so that people who're stuck with .84 now on jaguar can move up... I also would like the extra help of the user community in testing the undo stuff and that new system service which my stupid computer won't recognize. So if anyone's willing to try their hand at generating a release, there are updated instructions on the wiki at http://bibdesk.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/piki/HowToRelease (post questions there, we'll make it a live document) If you aren't a file release technician (right now i think it's just me and james) but you want to be, let me know. All it really gets you is the ability to add files to our "files" page. But it's sure to have rewards in the next life, right? If nobody else wants to do this, the earliest time I can get to it is March 9th. Let me know, -mike |
