In theory, Xcode 4.2 can coexist with 3.x just fine on Snow Leopard, and I think 2.5 could as well. In practice, I ran into some problems with 3.2.6 and 4.2 on Snow Leopard, as the updated frameworks that Xcode 4 installs are not compatible with other parts of the OS! -- adam |
