Sending a torrent URL does not initiate the download; no error, info or warning in the debug log though. Sending the same torrent *file* works fine.

Well does this apply to every URL, or just specific ones?
If it is just a specific one please post the link.

It seems to apply to any URL, I've tested http://www.legaltorrents.com/bit/bbs-documentary-artscene-episode-mpg.torrent
as well as some random torrents from btmon.com

I've also tried putting torrent files on my own web server, but the download just won't initialize when supplying a URL. Perhaps there is an error accessing the default download directory / default incomplete files directory?

I made sure there were no downloads hidden from AzSMRC by checking the download list via the telnet interface.

I plan on implementing the TorrentDownloader that ScaneRSS uses into AzSMRC, maybe this will fix your problem.

this is what azureus-cli spits out after any url upload:

    Exception in thread "Thread-3" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: lbms/tools/TorrentDownload
    at lbms.azsmrc.plugin.web.RequestManager$8$1.run(RequestManager.java:453)
    at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:595)

Should be fixed in the beta azsmrcPlugin_0.9.9.20070131.jar
