Sorry, i need again a little help about this simple question...
Ayam version : the latest (1.11)
Aqsis : unchanged (2005)
I rebuilded the "shadowmaps.ay" directly from the FAQ example. After an export-RIB, i get following at the rendering :
$ aqsis shadowmaps.rib
09/26/2006 20:30:31 ERROR: Invalid display type "filez"
09/26/2006 20:30:31 ERROR: Shadow map "/home/user/shadowmaps.rib.spot1.z" not found
09/26/2006 20:30:31 ERROR: Cannot open texture file "/home/user/shadowmaps.rib.spot1.shd"
09/26/2006 20:30:31 ERROR: Map "/home/user/shadowmaps.rib.spot1.shd" is not a valid shadow map, use RiMakeShadow
$
I get shadowmap.tif but without the shadow, like with a rendering directly from a viewwindow.
My preferences are set to "automatic" for the shadowmaps as well.
The only thing i changed since my try from may 2006 is that i'm using the 1.11 Ayam version instead the 1.8.3 (the shadow experience was fine).
Maybe i need to change something other in the preferences ?
For the rest Aqsis works as well after i reinstalled the whole configuration.
Cheers,
Sergio

Hi Sergio,
change "filez" to "zfile" in the RIB-Export SMFileFormat
preferences.
best regards,
Randolf,

Hi Randolf,
All OK, now no any warning, all intermediate files created as well, and the .tif also good with the shadow.
Thank's greatly !
Cheers,
Sergio
