Learning the first tutorial with a light rendering example (simple sphere and ground whith distant or spot light), i get, on the same machine :
- the right result with Fedora ;
- a same right result with Solaris, and better, but without the shadow of the sphere, and this either with the Xsun or the Xorg X server.
Have anyone heard from similar issue ?
Cheers,
Sergio

Hi Randolf,
OK, it works using carefully the example with the two boxes (Aqsis).
A year ago i worked on the build itself of my pictures and only yet i need to learn about how to obtain the exact rendering...
Thank's (again...) for your help.
Cheers,
Sergio
