Audio8D is a free, open-source desktop application and command-line tool that uses FFmpeg to create moving stereo audio for headphone listening.
Choose music, select one of 13 built-in sound styles, preview the effect and create new audio files. Adjust movement, speed and room sound, compare the original and processed audio, and convert multiple songs with shared or individual settings.
Export to MP3, FLAC, WAV, M4A or Opus, with loudness controls and saved custom styles. An optional Demucs add-on can keep the singer centered.
Windows and Linux x86_64 packages include Python and FFmpeg. Extract the complete ZIP and keep its companion files together. The original audio files are kept by default.
Audio8D's own code is MIT-licensed; bundled components retain their separate licenses and notices. The perceived effect varies with the recording, headphones and listener. Unsigned Windows builds may show an Unknown publisher or SmartScreen warning.
