About Gleam Audio
Gleam Audio is a desktop audio-processing application for podcasters, voiceover artists, audiobook narrators, and other people working with recorded speech. Its tools use on-device AI noise reduction to reduce hiss, hum, fan noise, and room noise while preserving the voice. Users can also normalize loudness, trim recordings with a waveform display, split longer recordings into parts, and convert audio between supported formats. Files can be processed individually or in batches, with controls for selecting tools and settings and for naming and locating output files. Processing runs locally on the user's computer, so audio files do not need to be uploaded to a cloud service for these tools. Gleam Audio is available as a downloadable desktop app and is distributed under the AGPL. The vendor offers a free personal-use allowance of up to 20 files per week; commercial use and unlimited processing require a pay-what-you-want license.
