It seems this was a bit of a false alarm, all of the above patches
except I never used the msw/setup0.h one, are included in
wxWidgets-3.1.4 which is current in openSUSE. This is most probably
why I didn't get any gui problems. I'll use the patch to remove the
audacity wxWidgets check and you should perhaps put in a wx 3.1.4
requirement instead.
