Apologies, the "used to work in 1.3.5" is wrong, 1.3.5 has the same 
problem. Just ran out of time to double-check that.

In the custom exporter, the tooltips worked well for me. I think 
you've done well to get such a complex thing looking as neat as 
that. The two checkboxes lack tooltips, maybe they don't support 
them? ("Use Bit Reservoir", "Use LPC" in FLAC options). Dropdowns 
lack them too ("Prediction Order Method", "Profile"). Profile would be
handy to explain poor support for other than LC.  

I have a few suggestions to improve presets:

* Save should be greyed out unless a character is typed in the box
* Throw a warning if saving would overwrite that preset
* Throw a warning if deleting a preset
