Hi, (I posted this question to the audacity-devel list first and they said to ask this question on this list) I was wondering how to change the SilenceMarker plugin to also mark the beginning of silence instead of when it stops (well actually that sounds slightly turned around). I want it to mark the beginning and end of audio, instead of just the 'end' of silence. Currently the SilenceMarker plugin finds when silence ends and adds a label. I find that I very often need to find both beginning and end of audio with the SilenceMarker plugin. (and after that I use "Export Multiple") a little background: I am editing digitized cassette tape recordings and want to split the ~45min audio into seperate wav/mp3 files. Since there is a (sometimes large) gap between songs, I want to export only the 'audio' of the songs and not the 'silences' inbetween. Any thoughts on this? Best regards, Jeroen Janssen |
