[Audacity-nyquist] snd-average does not work

Hello Listers

I am trying to average sound samples with the function snd-average but it
seems that it's not working.  Is it my codes or some bugs in Nyquist or
Audacity.  I am trying to amply it to the selected sound in Audacity.

Your help is very most welcome indeed.
