Martyn I'm not sure you need Python for basic functionality of WinCVS, although = you get warnings if it isn't installed ... that may just be for advanced = capabilities. I found WinCVS to be hard to work with ... might as well = use the CVS command line. There was a BIG change to CleanSpeech in mid-June. When you do "Help = About", what date shows up, if any? The last "CleanSpeech spinoff" was = beta 0.98 from June 6, 2005, and was based on a Jan, 2005 "snapshot".. In mid-June, James Crook integrated a Jan, 2005 snapshot and mid-June = CVS head, and implemented much more flexible "batch sequence" = capability. I haven't really checked what happens to the captured "noise = removal profile" (nrp) when you process a batch of files. The same nrp = and reduction level should be used with all audio files in the batch, = but I'm not sure that it does. ----- Original Message -----=20 From: Mar...@ao...=20 To: aud...@li...=20 Sent: Wednesday, July 06, 2005 5:42 PM Subject: Re: [Audacity-devel] Equalizer problem - Fixed (mostly) Thanks for this. I was not happy with the CVS app I had before = (WinCVS) which said I needed Python to do with it. I prefer simplicity, = even if it means a command line (having said that I'm on WinXP!). I am interested in getting the version with CleanSpeech and batch = processing which I note is credited as 1.3.0-beta. Is that what I get = when I follow the instruction you give? I guess I'll find out when I = try it!
