[Audacity-translation] German translation of "shelf filter"

I am a German user of Audacity. When using the recent version 3.7.5 of 
Audacity I questioned myself what a "Regalfilter" is. (To be found under 
"Effect > Steve Daulton") It is true: The english word "shelf" in the 
sense of a sawn timber board on the wall is called a "Regal" in german. 
But what is called a shelf-filter in filter theory cannot be translated 
word by word to be understood. If you ask in german Wikipedia what a 
"Regalfilter" is, you get no result. You better name a shelf-filter a 
"Kuhschwanzfilter" in german. A "Kuhschwanz" is a cows tail. The 
terminus is chosen because the frequency response of the filter 
resembles in double-logarithmic diagrams the bent tail of a cow.

I hope I could contribute a little bid to Audacity's usability in the 
german version.

There are 3 'roles' on Transifex. Translator, Reviewer and Coordinator. Maybe you can ask someone on the mailing list to make you coordinator (so you can review, but also add other reviewers/translators)?

[Audacity-translation] Problem with Transifex

Hello.

Here is Marco Oros. I can't join Transifex, because I need business 
e-mail. I'd like to still translate Audacity. Link to Transifex page of 
Audacity, which one of translator has sent to Me is bad. I'd like to 
continue on translating Audacity, but I can't register on Transifex, 
because I have e-mail on Gmail. I'd like to still translate Audacity as 
previous using Github and Poedit. But due to this, that You would like 
to move to Transifex I can't do It.

Or please, find somebody from Slovakia, who will translate Audacity to 
Slovak, but not edit My translated strings. Transifex isn't accessible 
for the blind users and I can only use business e-mail, which is strange 
and I can't reset My former account.

For your information, Transifex has several functions including 
*Download *and *Upload*:
https://app.transifex.com/audacity/audacity/language/sk/
If you click on /Audacity/, you should see a pop up showing the 
available functions.

So if it's possible for you, you could:
- Download your updated locale Audacity sk.po file from Transifex
- Keep on translating offline, using Poedit, OmegaT or another tool able 
to update a .po file
- Upload your translated locale Audacity sk.po file to Transifex

Alexander, thank you for this submission.

Unfortunately, this time the file is also corrupted and cannot be used. We will update the new lines added in 3.7.5. Starting from the next release, we will switch to the Transifex version.
