Hi Rick, Sorry for the delay getting back to you, it was a long weekend here in=20 Canada :) Which browser are you using? AST can compress the output using zlib (deflat= e),=20 however some browsers (notable Konqueror) advertise deflate support but don= 't=20 work. I need to add these browsers to a list so that they get uncompressed= =20 output. If you could send me your user agent that would be great (click=20 Submit Bug to find this out). Why you are using 100% CPU, I'm not quite sure. Since it doesn't work from = the=20 command line, I suspect something is wrong with your setup. Make sure that= =20 ast is in the "root" directory and not in the source directory. You can try= =20 running: ast --run-process login Also please check the permissions and ownership on the directory. Everythin= g=20 should be owned by the apache user. Do chown apache:apache * -R to fix this= =2E=20 AST must be setuid if you are going to run it as a user other than apache, = to=20 do this chmod 6755 ast. Please let me know how this works for you. =2D- Michael.
