This patch is experimental, but it's high time to archive it to fall back on incase everything goes to Hell later.

Pet scrolls function silmarly to empty/marked scrolls. The blank version currently records the pet's type and passes it to the summon version and will remove the pet. The summon version creates a new pet of that type. Ideally they should record and load the current stats instead of loading fresh stats.Working on it.

Important to note they don't have a lot of fail safes yet and if it has a pet to spawn when you go to use... it will spawn that pet with no regard for how many pets you already own. If that happens there are 'summon dragon scrolls', Simply pet scrolls that come preloaded with pet dragons. If the game thinks you have a pet and you don't really these will provide a pet for you to disown and clear the memory. Of course I'll remove these later once the scrolls check for pets.

In short this is an unfinished patch and should include

  1. Blank pet scrolls, summon pet scrolls, and summon dragon scrolls.
  2. New pet 'Purple Dragons' They use green dragon sprites as placeholder right now, and their def stat is increadibly disproportionate to real monsters. That's because real monsters seem to wipe the floor with them when they have comparable stats. They can stand up to 2 or 3 green dragons, and are roughly equivalent to level 60 creatures, would be ery curious to see how a legit player would fair agaisnt one though.
  3. pet and summon_pet Image files.

The plan is for Purple Dragons to be the adult stage of baby dragons but for now they exist as a seprate pet. With Purple Dragons a way to carry pets becomes kind of nesscary since they get stuck at narrow paths pretty often.

    Yeah,though I don't think pet scrolls are even function right now, the stuff in this ticket is implmented and/or outdated.
