The parts of the palm which were on layer 2_object (tile above of the base) had been removed from that layer. * Huge green trees at border around coordinates 21,102 have been fixed, all bases are on layer 2_object now and removed from layer 3_roof, same reasons as for the palms. * Edges had been placed on layer 3_roof which was wrong around 96 63, now fixed with using layer 0_floor for the dark green grass, layer 1_terrain for the edges, trees stayed untouched, they were correctly in relation to their layers. * Trees around 33 27 have been fixed too, there were tiles on 4_roof_add which was wrong (just a tiny one which the player wear on the head), layer 3_roof tiles which were wrong there from the tree base has been moved to layer 2_object I think these were all bugs/errors in the map, hope it was ok to fix them and show how it has to look :) maybe you can try to set up a localhost for test map changes directly on your own server :) Greetings Bluelads4 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: reburbujo (taberenc) Date: 2011-11-20 08:32 Message: now i upload the new version ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2011-11-20 08:31 Message: palms were on layer 3 roof yet, but were have not been deleted from the layer 2. now that has been done, so 1st tile of base of palm trees are on layer 1 ground and the rest of the palm on layer 3 roof. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: bluelads (bluelads99) Date: 2011-11-20 04:22 Message: More details about how to fix it: delete the upper palm tiles from layer 2, leave them on layer 3 and put the tile which is directly over the collision one on layer 3 as well, then it's correct. Just the base, one tile at the beginning of the palm, has to be on layer 1 or layer 2, not the whole palm, otherwise players will walk over it. The rest of the palm has to be in layer 3 roof. Please really take a look at the layer descriptions on the wiki page instead of doing something without having a basic knowledge behind what you are doing, otherwise you are spending time on stuff which is placed wrong then... If floor is for kind of surface and terrain for shores, then base of trees are not none of them. *As i can see, upper part of palms are on layer 3_roof. Base of palms are not as roof, are as object, like base of trees, that are not on roof either, instead on object (layer2) *the part where you can walk in a not deep water like is beside a river island was done on purpose. the collisions are done like that with intentionality. Like a river that puts sand to make an island, and softly goes depper. the dark blue is more deep, but the light blue means not so deep, and near to the shore of the island, like southern part, is walkable. thats the idea. if is thought that cant be like that then can be fixed. *(42,36) base tree added now. *protection area is not there by accident. Access to this river is a narrow path that can easily be blocked. this is a place without exit. i thought that a protection area was needed. Some kind of magic artifact, like a png of a closed door or something like that could be added, i dont care. but not having a protection area somewhere here would be potentially very dangerous for some players. *(47,82) and other walkable areas were there on purpose, but if is thought that player should not be able to walk in front of a base tree, then i put collision there. no problem. fixed yet. *the grass edge on (97,64) is on layer 1_terrain. they are halfed tiles, so need having a floor tile under them. i think that are on the correct layer. * the /../../ trouble i think that is fixed now. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: reburbujo (taberenc) Date: 2011-11-19 09:18 Message: Answer to the suggestions done before: * The tree bases at 0_nalwor_forest_e at (34,27), around (44,41), (47,82), 29,78) and (57,49) are still not placed correctly. There are parts of it on layer 4 at the moment and some on layer 2 * The palms are not correctly placed at 17,79, (21,86), 30,90) --> these parts have to be placed on 3_roof * You can walk on the water when you left the little island with the palms in the south * There is a missing tree base at (42,36) * I'm not sure why the protection area is around there, it looks like added by accident? * There are missing collision tiles around (47,82) * Grass edges around (97,64) are on the wrong layer, they are on layer 3 now buit that have to be on layer 1.
