Category: None Group: None >Status: Closed >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: yoriy (yoriy) >Assigned to: Katie Russell (kymara) Summary: turn off automatic corpses opening when in DM Initial Comment: In the deathmatch arena monsters never drop anything, except when summoned from scrolls. But their corpses windows still opening during death match, it is not very good because can lead to player's death. So i offer to completely switch off this feature in deathmatch arena area - if player want to check corpse, he can do this by inspect action ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Katie Russell (kymara) Date: 2011-05-15 10:17 Message: I have turned off auto inspection of empty corpses. I hope, this does not waste players time who start to worry why a corpses isn't opening - not many (normal) creatures regularly have nothing in their corpse. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2011-04-16 18:59 Message: An alternative approach might be to not open empty corpse. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Katie Russell (kymara) Date: 2011-04-16 17:23 Message: This would be possible, but some work - the client doesn't know the difference between a deathmatch creature corpse and a normal corpse currently, so we'd end up with additional client side classes for those. Did you know that the auto inspect setting is optional, and you could turn it off when you go into deathmatch? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=351111&aid=3288107&group_id=1111 |
