The healing rates were set when the old damage system was still in place, and the monsters also received damage a lot slower. Maybe it's time to review those a bit. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Groundhug McHampster (h4mt4r0) Date: 2009-08-08 20:39 Message: well, time is not the biggest issue in this scenario, as long as more than 5 damage is dealt per tick to cover the regeneration... i will just take a nap until i am levelled. i have also thought that the regen values for high level monsters like this are quite low - even a level 200+ angel is only healing at 5 per tick -- black giant, fallen angel, etc. (somewhat tangent). i never had a problem solo-killing huge creatures over three times my level until i ran across black dragon & necrosophia (solved by a smidgen of training). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Kimmo Rundelin (kiheru) Date: 2009-08-08 14:04 Message: I did a bit of testing to check that rate and min_level attributes would work with bows too without any code changes. It would be simplest to just add min level values to some of the better bows.
