The reason your weapon anim doesnt work is because you set the weapon as a child to the bone. What you need to do is to freeze the current animated model and create a second knife (copy the geometry + and path setting if possible) that has as parent the sceneroot. (Break the hierarchy) Match the new knife to the old knife so the animations overlay, if you use the same path it should be easy.... Now for every new weapon you can copy the settings and the path and overlay it so it matches the original knife anim that animates the model. This way you can place ALL the weapons into one max file, and I can export from there to ASE. If you do that, we can export to ASE normally, and from that to .ssg files, which load much faster and are only 1/3 the size. The big thing: weapons parent = sceneroot!!! SkyFlash |
