I was talking with Otherwise and I am building an elf in 3dsmax3, and We can render it in too many positions. But I think that a 3d iso client is more attractive than a 3D client like Asheron´s Call or 2Dtop-down client, what do you think about a mix? Characters using real-time3D and objects&terrains using sprites 3Dprerendered,like Total Anihilation. It´s very difficult create too many objects in 3dsmax and there´re too many adjetives for the objects and races, we could create nude characters without hair, and create hair, clothes, shoes, weapons and other components(in different sprites), and the engine put over the nude character in realtime. Anyway I´m modeling a nude elf, but I think we must use a standard camera position for all graphics, too. But in 2D top-down graphics, the objects over the terrain have a real top-down camera, but the terrain used a top camera, i think.(Wow, my english is bad, i hope that everybody understand that i want to say) |
