#5768 Frogman graphics partially based on Chrono Trigger character Frog

The Frogman type monsters (Frogman, Caped Frogman, and Wizard Frogman) all are based at least partially on sprites of the character Frog from Chrono Trigger, a Super NES game that is intellectual property of Square Enix. So the Frogman, Caped Frogman, and Wizard Frogman, all 3 of those monsters need new graphics. I haven't looked for any replacement graphics yet, I am just reporting this now that I am sure (I wasn't 100% sure before). Basically, the head for all types of frogmen is exactly the same sprite as for the head of the character Frog in Chrono Trigger, except with a blue palette instead of a green palette. And using a blue palette for frogmen doesn't even make any sense, it would make more sense to have frogmen be green, in the replacement sprites. The only reason it was blue was so it wouldn't be so obvious it was a copy of one of the main characters in Chrono Trigger. But still, the head for all 3 types of frogman monsters is copied directly from Chrono Trigger, although there is a different palette. The rest of the frogmen monsters other than the head ISN'T copied from Chrono Trigger, but is original/derivative art that doesn't look like the Chrono Trigger art. And the palette is different from Chrono Trigger. So theoretically we could rework the existing frogman art, by just erasing the existing frogman heads and then redrawing new heads from scratch, using the current palette. Or better yet, make them green instead of blue, because frogs tend to be green, and having them be blue is just silly, although that's just my personal opinion about what color they should be. We could just of course use completely different art for the types of frogmen. So yeah, the part of the graphics that is from Chrono Trigger is the sprite of the head, so if we just replace that part and draw new frog heads for them, that would fix this. Or if we want to be 100% sure there isn't any copyright infringement we can replace the entire frogmen art for all 3, which is probably a better idea. Anyway I don't have any replacements yet.
