I noticed leaving Ares on that my entire taskbar and start button looks corrupt. Will this be fixed? Uninstalling Ares fixed the problem. Also, Ares leaves some files that are considered virii.

I noticed this problem as well. It happens is Ares runs for a long time. Usually the only way for me to fix the issue is to restart my laptop. I understand that ares is not entirely compatible with Vista yet.

This should be fixed as more and more people who use vista a complaining. You can see http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1685680&group_id=112366&atid=662033
for more information on this issue. BTW it was downgraded from a 9 to a 5 in the priority queue.
