When downloading the uncompressed packages file, apt-proxy uses this command: $RSYNC_CMD -z $TMP_URL $TMP_FILE The -z tells rsync to compress the on-the-wire transfer, so you should not have seen 7MB be transferred. Did you measure how much traffic was generated? Chris |
