we plan to use APLAWS CMS for a german project. Therefor we need a german backoffice. Is ist possible to user APLAWS-backoffice in a multilingual version?

Yes it is possible. Currently out of the box, aplaws supports content authoring in the followwing languages: English, German, French, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.
However, some of the back office pages have not been translated. E.g. the links and buttons are all in English.
There is some translated content in French and German.
To fix this, you will need to translate the '*_en.properties' files and provide '*_de.properties' files.
