Which ones, first gen from the 90s? Have at least read the manual before spreading such nonsense? I think not. 4% load, which is like 20 watts, is absolutely useless for any testing. Hook some incandescent bulbs to it, or some heater, anything, 200 W at least, preferably resistive load. Run test again, or rip the cord with stopwatch in hand. -- S uctivým pozdravem/best regards, Pavel Boček Jabber: Be...@ja... +420 739 190 151 http://www.hwworld.cz (elektromontáže silnoproud/slaboproud, kondenzátory, aku/baterie, mikrospínače pro myši a klávesnice aj./capacitors etc.) https://www.hardwareinsights.com (power supply reviews and more) stickers-cz.com (nekonformní samolepky, placky) ---------- Původní e-mail ---------- Od: Tom via Apcupsd-users <apc...@li...> Komu: Apcupsd Discussion List <apc...@li...> Kopie: Tom <ro...@co...> Datum: 8. 10. 2025 13:09:23 Předmět: Re: [Apcupsd-users] question about battery life information consistency " In the Smart-UPS models the battery replacement message is based on the date the battery was installed, which must be manually set (unless there's some other issue going on). I THINK the BackUPS models are the same.
