I just setup apcupsd on a Smart-UPS 1400 connected to a Linux server. I have not modified any numerical values since apcupsd was installed. The values I am concerned about (from apcaccess status) are listed below: TIMELEFT : 7.0 Minutes MBATTCHG : 5 Percent MINTIMEL : 3 Minutes DSHUTD : 180 Seconds DLOWBATT : 02 Minutes My interpretation of what this means is: At the current load after 7 minutes on battery, the charge will be down to 5 percent. At 3 minutes (from MINTIMEL) apcupsd will start shutdown procedures, but since "DSHUTD" is set to 180 sec (3 min) there will be a 3 minute delay. ) So, the system is set to shutdown 3 minutes after the battery is down to 3 minutes charge? Which is probably after the UPS has shutdown. Can someone tell me if I understand this correctly, and/or if I need to change some settings and to what? Thanks in advance.
