Hi Adam,

I have been tried these steps, but now I updated my BIOS.

Now, the usb driver seems to works, but apcupsd doesn't.

I tried the apctest utility and the error is the same that apcupsd service:
apctest FATAL ERROR in ../drivers/usb/generic/generic-usb.c at line 613
Cannot find UPS device --

I'm using 0.12.1 from usb driver, I downloaded from libusb-win32,
generate .inf with wizard, the result is the same with version from
apcupsd package.

To connect in my smartUPS I using USB to RJ45 cable AP9827.

In apcupsd.conf:
UPSCABLE usb
UPSTYPE usb
DEVICE
