[Apcupsd-users] apctest: program eeprom values via usb?

Any update on supporting programming eeprom values via usb rather 
than a smart serial connection?  Is it just a matter of adding in
the calls and giving it a shot :-), or are there some fundamental
issues that need to be tested/verified first?  I'm running 3.12.4,
but it looks like 3.14.0 is the same.  Thanks.

I'll admit it, I'm not getting a smart custom rj45 cable to work
with my apc back-ups rs 1500 and linux, (but the usb and powerchute 
code on windows works to change the eeprom sensitivity and voltage 
values).
